PCEA KASARANI CENTRAL PARISH WOMAN’S GUILD
The Woman's Guild is a fellowship of women and girls in the Presbyterian Church of East Africa whose main objective is to bring together women and girls of the Church in the dedication of their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, for His Kingdom through worship, fellowship and service. It is founded on the Bible teaching in Romans 12:11-13.
Vision: “To be an all-inclusive Christian women organization that empowers women to transform society”.
Mission: “To holistically empower Christian women by enabling them to effectively transform the society through; worship, fellowship, networking, partnerships, advocacy, communication, mobilization of resource, research and training based on Christian values”

Objectives
- To enhance spiritual maturity in Christ of women and girls;
- To empower women and girls and to prepare them to effectively play their roles in the family, church and society;
- To develop leadership qualities and skills for women as well as mentoring girls in leadership; and
- To build and develop capacity of women and girls through training, skills enhancement to enable them to transform the society.
Role of the Woman’s Guild
The roles of the Woman’s Guild in the Church include:
- Preaching the word of God and winning souls for Christ;
- Visiting the sick, the orphans and the elderly;
- Sharing food and clothing with the less fortunate;
- Following up the weak and strengthening them;
- Seeking and finding the lost and helping them get back to Christ;
- Holding fellowship where we encourage each other with testimonies thus enhancing women to be strong in faith;
- Organizing seminars for girls and women;
- Providing hospitality; and
- Beautification of the church.
Birth and Growth of PCEA Kasarani Central Parish
Kasarani Central Parish Woman’s Guild was formed from Kasarani Parish in December, 2017 with ninety eight (98) members. The Parish consists of two (2) congregations i.e Ciiko and Baraka. Since then the Parish has grown to one hundred and fifty two (152) commissioned members and sixteen (16) followers. The ladies meet every fourth Sunday of the month for prayers. In addition, we are empowered through other topics of ladies choice. This either done by our own members or invited guests. All ladies who are full members in the Parish are invited to join2022 - 2023 Leaders
